George Dixon (Royal Navy officer)

George Dixon was an English sea captain, explorer, and maritime fur trader. George Dixon was born in Leath Ward, a native of Kirkoswald. The son of Thomas Dixon, he was baptised in Kirkoswald onJuly 1748.
